Marriage 410

Any marriage outside Christ cannot escape difficulties and troubles. The reason the devil brings disagreements and bitterness between couples is so that he can hinder their prayer lives and ensure that they remain stagnant. But your unity and prayer will compel God to honour you and change your story.

Singles, if you are preparing to get married soon, there is need to begin to plan ahead for the number of children you can comfortably cater for. That is one of the things you and your fiancé or fiancée should discuss and agree on. It is not a one person decision.

Some singles conclude that since they have waited for so long and have not gotten the right person to marry, they are ready to marry whoever comes, even an unbeliever.  Such people have forgotten that how long they have waited is not as important as the success of their marriage. If you jump in anyhow, the tendency to jump out anyhow is inevitable.

Spouse, Your partner isn’t stupid; they can read your undertones. They will know if your Sorry, Thank you and Please isn’t heartfelt. Don’t use abusive words with each other. If you feel angry or provoked, let your words be calculated and say them calmly. Also, let your words be full of empathy and understanding.

Finally, to fulfil God’s purpose for your marriage the first step is to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour. Number two: To be a keeper and a solution provider requires the grace of God and to access that grace, you must be born again. If you want to be born again you need to say this prayer:

“Dear Lord Jesus Christ, I come to You today as a sinner. Forgive me of my Sins. I believe You died and rose on the third day for my sins. I accept You as my Lord and Saviour. Make me a child of God today. Thank You for accepting me into Your Kingdom.”
