Ezekiel 22:30, Rom 3:2, Gen 3:8-10, John 18:37, 1 Sam 17:29, Exodus 3:21-22

Men and brethren, a seasoned commander is the man who is ready to become the captain of his circumstances. It is the man or woman who is ready to be used by God to change the lives of men. It is the man or woman who is ready to make Heaven stand at attention at the command of his or her words; he is the instrument that God will use to turn lamentation to celebration; it is the man who is ready to have an encounter with God and must be a man who is ready for God to teach him the deep secrets things of life and to reveal the purpose of his creation. And God said, “I sought for a man” Ezekiel 22:30. “….because that unto them were committed the oracles of God” Rom 3:2. may you be enlisted today. 

Right where you are, in order to become a seasoned commander, you must know how to move in the supernatural without grieving God and without being carried away. The question is if you understand your purpose. What has God called you originally to do? Are you in the place where God can still reach you as when you started? Do you still preach fervently as when you were born again? Do you still maintain your prayer and communication with Heaven without taking God for granted because what you take for granted can make you grounded. Adam left and repositioned himself outside the purpose of his creation and he became scared and hopeless and terrified, he was grounded Gen 3:8-10. Therefore, every desperation and hopelessness of life is due to our inability to realize the ability and the availability of God.

The seasoned commanders must be ready to dwell in the word of God because every bible passage is a living organism and God brings new perspective to every bible passage. Boy oh boy, God is the only one who reveals Himself and remains a mystery. Men and brethren, God wants to show you things you don’t know about a passage you thought you knew.
Our problem is that we have become yesterday thinkers and tomorrow terrified. Jesus said to Pilate ‘for this cause I was born’ John 18:37. Do you know why you were born? Do you know why God has placed you in that family where no one has ever prospered? What promise did you make to God which you did not honour? Do you know why you are in that village? When David’s brothers were angry that he confronted their limitations for not defeating Goliath, he declared ‘Is there not a cause’ 1 Sam 17:29. He chose to become the seasoned commander at the appearance of the enemy of God for the sake of his nation, for the sake of his community and for the sake of his family.

I am amazed when I see believers living selfish lives and we claim we are going to heaven; I am amazed when our leaders plunder the nation’s wealth and make laws that make no sense: they don’t know they are heaping curses to their many generations. The man or woman who desires to become a seasoned commander must learn to keep his or her words. You must keep your promises to man and God. You know, we live in a country where people promises to build bridges where there are no rivers; we just say anything we like without considering what we have said Judges 11:36. But Jesus said I have come to do the will of my father. Every position God has placed you is not because of you; God wants you to be an extension of his power and an extension of his blessings to your family and neighbour. John 6:38. God is looking for a man Ezekiel 22:30, God is looking for a man he will use as His battle axe Jeremiah 51:20. The application to enroll as a seasoned commander of heaven is open for men and women who shall command the dividends of Calvary; men who may be on the verge of major disaster but can still believe that every problem has an expiring date; men and women who’s dream cannot be terminated because of poverty mentality. The seasoned commanders are men who have purported in their heart not to sin against God, no matter what may befall them; men that cared for nothing but the work of God and the people of God. Men that will strive to remain steadfast, dedicated and committed. Men who love God and who lived a life of integrity, a life of honesty, a life of holiness, a life of prosperity, a life of wisdom and a life of creativity and imagination.

They are men who specialize in combining faith plus prayer plus fasting plus speaking in tongues plus covenant with God, and great things happens; but ignorance is the greatest enemy you will ever have, because to know is to believe; and to believe is to set yourself free. Ignorance leads to panic and worry. And worry is you in a dark room developing negatives. Somebody told me the other time, most of you Christians have skeleton in the cupboard, I told him the skeletons in the cupboard have been covered by the blood of Jesus and so they are no more there. We are justified by the blood and only Jesus has the right to condemn any man. Rom 5:9. Don’t join the people condemning men of God, because when God punish them, he will also punish you for joining the multitude. If they are called men of God, then allow God to fight his battle 1 Sam 26: 9 -10.
Desiring to become a seasoned commander of the kingdom of heaven can make your life worthwhile and can reposition you for future event of exploits. My prayer for you today is that your luggage through life shall no longer be firewood and pillowcase; it shall become silver and gold. Exodus 3:21-22.
