Daily Wisdom Devotion: The Sound of the Samaritan Miracles
John 4:5-39, Deuteronomy 29:29, Isaiah 1:18, Matthew 16:16
Men and brethren, there is great sound of a Samaritan miracles happening in this forum. It is a supernatural overruling of what used to be, to what should be. It is a miracle of come and see what the Lord has done, to Gods glory. The bible says the woman of Samaritan felt she was in control of the situation. This woman was blinded by tradition that she could not afford to offer ordinary water. Suddenly, what she had was despised and she was supplied with what she needed to fulfil destiny.
Right where you are, You will never overcome failure until you overcome unfaithfulness. Repent in the areas of your shortcomings and ask God to give you another opportunity. A thankful heart is a foundation for a successful future. Many people get blessed and they run away without coming back to say thank you. The next time you see them, they are asking for more prayers; but the grateful heart shall be fruitful.
One thing must be noted that divine provision is not about your monthly salary; I am not talking of what you have, I am talking of what you are due for in the covenant to receive. I am talking of what you deserve in God’s plan. God is saying; I will put you in a new position where you will become a helper to your helpers. I will reverse the pattern. You shall no longer count days, months; rather, you shall measure your blessings by consistent evidence of the presence and power of God. Things programmed in the past that enemies and events have suppressed shall be delivered into your hands. It came to the Samaritan’s woman; it shall come to you too. She became a mouthpiece of revelational insightful knowledge of God. She went out testifying; “And many of the Samaritans of that city believed on him for the saying of the woman, which testified, He told me all that ever I did.” John 4:39
Jesus said to the disciples, “And herein is that saying true, One soweth, and another reapeth. I sent you to reap that whereon ye bestowed no labour: other men laboured, and ye are entered into their labours.” John 4:37-38. It is time you look up and take delivery of what has been earmarked for you. You must be expectant because you shall walk into opportunity, you shall be connected to blessings of favour – blessings that others have laboured for that God has qualified you to reap by grace. The promises of the living God are not given to be negotiated but to be believed if it must be enjoyed. Today, believe God for uncommon opportunities of sudden favour and blessings
Men and brethren, Ignorance is a spiritual gate that must be forced opened. You must know before you are known. Therefore, if you can overcome sin and negative attitude, you will overcome every manner of destiny limitation. Every child of God is born with a destiny star. The enemy can see it but has no authority over it. Boy oh boy, it was Jesus star that announced His destiny, the star of your destiny shall announce you to your world. You must say to God, I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. I receive the courage and boldness to resist and reject, consistently, every unprofitable offer that could defile my covenant with God, in Jesus’ name.
You have fought enough. If succeeding on earth is by fighting, you would have long succeeded but the word of God is the destiny map to our future. And this awesomely awesome God is the custodian of all secrets. The secrets of things of life belong unto our God but the things that are revealed are for us and our children Deuteronomy 29:29.
It is foolishness to attempt to reason with man when you have not reasoned with God. Isaiah 1:18 says, “Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool” “The woman then left her waterpot, and went her way into the city, and saith to the men, Come, see a man,…” John 4:28-29. Divine speed makes room for years of losses and pains. When God renews your strength, He gives you an overtaking speed. God’s plan is to grant you consistence relevance with an overtaking speed. I release the grace to overtake your overtakers.
No matter what you experience in life as a Christian, the best place to remain and succeed is in Christ Jesus. He is the master who can turn your confusion to comfort. No matter what is threatening your existence, there will be divine intervention. The devil is always scared of believers with power. If you have lost your faith, it means you have lost your hope and when your hope is lost, your relevance on earth is lost. Only dead body has no hope. If you lack hope, you lack life. And when you lack life, you are already an accident waiting to happen.
Friends, the channel for receiving the Samaritan’s miracles lies in your ability to ask God in prayers. God is looking for receivers. You must position yourself around men who have deep respect for God. God does not schedule season like calendars but schedules seasons by decision. Heaven has empowered each and every one of us to decide the future we enter. God does not decide your success but your obedience. This is because God gives you a choice and leaves you to your decision. It is your decision to obey God that will determine your success on earth. There is no life question that does not have answer in man. Peter looked inward and received answer to Jesus’ question when he screamed, “Thou art Christ, the son of the living God” Matthew 16:16. He was consecrated and promoted immediately. Promotion is the reward of men who can provide answers. If you lack answer, you will lack success and promotion.
Every question is a channel of answers. Those who ask questions are those who dream success. God does not decide your success; it is your obedience that determines your success. The Samaritan’s miracle is yours for the asking. Do you need a miracle today? Maybe you need God to move in a personal relationship? Are you believing God to lead one of your family members to the free gift of salvation? Or maybe you are believing God for a financial breakthrough despite our economy? Whatever the miracle, Jesus is able to do it!
Concluding Prayer for The Sound of the Samaritan Miracles: Awesomely awesome God, You have not created me for nothing, You have created me to do certain definite services and You have committed into my hands some assignments which You have not committed to anyone else. Lord, restore my wasted years, my wasted season, my wasted efforts, money, health, strength and blessings. Therefore, I shall do good. I shall become the evidence of your wonders on earth. I shall commit to do Your work. The anointing of God upon my life shall give me favour in the eyes of God and men and women all the days of my life. I shall not labour in vain. I shall walk everyday in victory and liberty of the spirit. I receive the mouth and the wisdom which my adversaries are not able to resist in Jesus’ powerful name I pray, Amen.
