As a girl or a boy you don’t have to accept gift from everybody. The question should be what is the motive? A girl came to me and said a man promised to give her 1 million naira to sleep with her and marry her after. And she told me that she needs the money badly. I told her she was stupid for thinking such because she did not think of the consequences. Beware. if he loves you so much he should marry you first. That marriage if it ever happens is already in crises.
The scripture says, men love your wife, whether she has a child for you or not. It must be unconditional. Woman, if a man does not love you, having a child or more children for him cannot make him love you more because children comes and in few years will move out. Don’t decide to have children by yourself without the man because it takes the man and the woman to make a home.
When you disobey instructions, you become an embarrassment to yourself, your family and your church. Don’t use your hand to make your children fatherless when their father is still alive and you blame it on the devil.
When there is no cooperation and respectable communication that advances your family by both husband and wife, two of them are only sharing apartment. They are only roommates and not partners. A visit by a sensible outsider will notice that your house is not in order and nobody will want to do good business with you.
Singles: Beware of sudden falling in love to someone you have never met and later discover he or she has a family you never know about. A sister fell in love with a brother without knowing he has other children, now she is an old testament. Ask for the church, Pastor, family and pay a visit or send someone to check things out. The other person willingness will decide if he or she is truthful.
As a family, be grounded with daily study of the word and prayers for good health. I need to state that prosperity or real life success is not merely measured in monetary or material value. If you have all the money in the world and aren’t healthy enough to enjoy your wealth you are not really successful. And you are not successful when your children are not doing well.
Finally, to fulfil God’s purpose for your marriage the first step is to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour. Number two: To be a keeper and a solution provider requires the grace of God and to access that grace, you must be born again. If you want to be born again you need to say this prayer:
“Dear Lord Jesus Christ, I come to You today as a sinner. Forgive me of my Sins. I believe You died and rose on the third day for my sins. I accept You as my Lord and Saviour. Make me a child of God today. Thank You for accepting me into Your Kingdom.”
