A man needs certain things before he proposes and marries a woman; Adam was the CEO of God’s creation before God brought a woman to him. The woman need favour and some maturity before accepting a marriage proposal because marriage is a besieged city, those inside without God wants to jump out and those outside wants to jump in.
God is the foundation for success in the home. The problem with many couples is that they push God aside, and yet expect to enjoy divine benefits. They ignore the Word of God, which is the Manufacturer’s Manual and expect the product (marriage) to function perfectly. It is impossible! If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do? (Psalm 11:3).
Wives beware of voices that destroy good homes. Such as ‘What makes you different from the man? Are you a slave? Have you forgotten that you are also educated as he (husband) is? Have you forgotten your placement in your office? I am richer than my husband? More intelligent than my husband? There is neither Jew nor Greek, male or female; the same Lord is rich over all. Hear me, If unguarded, the woman would be tempted to agree with satan and the home will become a war zone.
Husbands that beat their wives are destroying their own life and their own body. If you are constantly abuse my your spouse, please seek counselling.
Learn to prove the source of the information that comes to you and your home. Find things out for yourself from the Word of God, because nothing anybody says can make the Word of no effect. The destruction many families have experienced today, came from information that had satanic sources.
Be rest assured that God is going to help you to combat the enemies (barrenness, poverty, confusion, etc.) in your marriage. As help comes to you from heaven, they will all bow to you, in Jesus’ name!
Finally, to fulfil God’s purpose for your marriage the first step is to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour. If you want to be born again you need to say this prayer:
“Dear Lord Jesus Christ, I come to You today as a sinner. Forgive me of my Sins. I believe You died and rose on the third day for my sins. I accept You as my Lord and Saviour. Make me a child of God today. Thank You for accepting me into Your Kingdom.”
