Bible Study: Created to Win
Worship song for Today: What do You believe in
Daily Wisdom Devotion: Created to Win
Ephesians 5:15, 16, Genesis 41:25-57, Exodus 19:10, 2 Thess 3:10, Matthew 26:41
Men and brethren, have you considered what believers actually do that makes them the Consistent Winner? What does it take to become a champion? Is wishing enough? Is only Praying enough? Is Pastor just speak the word enough? I came across this quote that says “Winners do not become champions when they win the event, but in the hours, weeks, months and years they spend preparing for it. Champions and Winners are The Doing believers. First, you must realize that you were Created to Win. Therefore, You must remain long enough with The Champions Mentality to see results and breakthroughs. My prayer for you today is that you will be found in this corner when it matters most and where your mockers will celebrate you. Let me add that the victorious performance itself is merely the demonstration of their championship character”. The quote continued “If there is no passion in your life, then have you really lived? Find your passion, whatever it may be. Become it, and let it become you and you will find great things happen FOR you, TO you and BECAUSE of you”
Friends, life is made in a way that no man succeeds by mere wishing. God has deposited to everyone unique gifts and talents. You were Created to Win. But permit me to say that what you love is what you’re gifted at. Therefore, whenever you fail, never stop in your pursuit for wellness and well-being and staying unmoveable as a Consistent Winner. For as long as you have faith, you’ll grow and be living and loving with more wisdom and favour from the awesomely awesome God. I announce, no demon will stop your blessings this season. See, life is made in a way that to be completely happy, to live a completely fulfilled life, you have to love God and do what you love. Everyone has his own specific vocation or mission in life to carry out a concrete assignment which demands fulfillment. Therein he cannot be replaced, nor can his life be repeated. Thus, everyone’s task is as unique as his specific opportunity to implement it.
Success, happiness, peace of mind and fulfillment, the most priceless of human treasures are available to all among us, without exception, who make things happen. People who are found with Consistent Winner’s mentality. Who make good things happen in the world around them? Only those who have learned the power of sincere and selfless contribution experience life’s deepest joy: true fulfilment. The scripture also confirms and affirms the importance of work. “For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat.” 2 Thessalonians 3:10. May God flavour your labour with favour. Today’s devotion will concentrate on areas of self-development and self-fulfilment of what Champions do. It will unfold the secrets of champions and why you were Created to Win in simple terms when you stay with The Consistent Winners Mentality.
Number One: Prioritizing and Time Management. – If success depends on effective action, effective action depends on the ability to focus your attention where it is needed most. This is the ability to separate the important from the unimportant, which is a much needed skill in all walks of life, especially where there are ever increasing opportunities and distractions. The good news is that real time is mental. It exists between your ears. You create it. Anything you create, you can manage. It’s time to remove any self-sabotage or self-limitation you have around “not having enough time,” or today not being “the right time” to start a business or manage your current business properly.
There are only three ways to spend time: thoughts, conversations and actions. Regardless of the type of business you own, your work will be composed of those three items. Ephesians 5:15, 16, Genesis 41:25-57, Psalm 90:12; 39:4, 2 Corinthians 5:10; Romans 14:10-12,
Number Two: Keeping a clean, organized space. – One of the habits of Winners is that they have systems in place to help them find what they need, when they need it – they can quickly locate the information required to support their activities. When you’re disorganized, that extra time spent looking for a phone number, email address or a certain file forces you to drop your focus. Once it’s gone, it takes a while to get it back – and that’s where the real time is wasted. I made it compulsory in my house for my children to arrange all their school bags and clothes they will wear the next school day, a night before; to make life easier for me in the morning and going to work with concentration to be resourceful. Therefore, keeping both your living and working spaces organized is crucial in order to becomes a Winning Disciple Exodus 19:10.
Number Three: Critical thinking and information analysis. – We are living in the information age where, on a daily basis, we are constantly exposed to an ever growing and rapidly changing pool of information. Being able to evaluate this information, sort the valuable from the trivial, analyze its relevance and meaning, and relate it to other information is a priceless skill with universal applicability. Proverbs 2:10-11, Proverbs 1:7
Number Four: Logical, informed decision making. – Decision making simply knowing what to do based on the information available and totally dependent on Gods wisdom. Being able to respond quickly and effectively with the information you have in your head is essential to accomplishing anything. I Kings 3:16-28, James 1:5, 1 Kings 3:5-12
Number Five: Using Google proficiently for online research. – You don’t have to know everything, but you should be able to quickly and painlessly find out what you need to know. Google for example is a gateway to nearly infinite knowledge; it has indexed websites containing information on just about everything and everyone. If you’re having trouble finding something using Google, it’s time to learn a few new tricks. When I forgot how to knot a tie, I went to Youtube and saw an example and practice it. It was fun. Proverbs 16:22, Proverbs 1:5
Number Six: Basic accounting and money management. – It’s a simple fact that our modern society is governed by the constant exchange of money. Money allows you to maintain a roof over your head and put food on the table each night. Knowing how to properly manage your money – tracking and recording your expenses and income, saving and investing – is not only an important skill for thriving, it’s an important skill that helps you survive. Ecclesiastes 7:12, Proverbs 21:20, Luke 14:28-30
Number Seven: Effective communication and negotiating. – Give the people in your life the information they need rather than expecting them to know the unknowable. Don’t try to read other people’s minds, and don’t make other people try to read yours. Most problems, big and small, within a family, friendship, or business relationship, start with bad communication. Speak honestly, and then give others a voice and show them that their words matter. And remember that compromise and effective negotiating are vital parts of effective communication. Proverbs 12:18, 25, Proverbs 15:1, Ephesians 4:29-32
Number Eight: Relaxation. – Stress leads to poor health, poor decision-making, poor thinking, and poor socialization. So be attentive to your stress level and take short breaks when you need to. Slow down. Breathe. Give yourself permission to pause, regroup and move forward with clarity and purpose. When you’re at your busiest, a brief recess can rejuvenate your mind and increase your productivity. These short breaks will help you regain your sanity, and allow you to reflect on your recent actions so you can be sure they’re in line with your goals. Genesis 2:2-3, Mark 6:31,
Number Nine: Proficient writing and note-taking. – The written word isn’t going away; it is used in every walk of life. Learning to write proficiently so that others can understand you is critical. Also, using your writing skills to take useful notes is one of the most productive things you can do, regardless of the task at hand. Writing things down – taking notes – helps us remember what we hear, see, or read when we’re learning something new, or trying to remember something specific Habakkuk 2:2,
Number Ten: Relationship networking. – The more people you know the more the channel of miracle. In a world dominated by constant innovation and information exchange, relationship networking creates the channel through which ideas and information flow, and in which new ideas are shared, discussed and perfected. A large relationship network, carefully cultivated, can be leveraged to meet the right people, find jobs, build businesses, learn about new trends, spread ideas, etc. Hebrews 10:24-25, Proverbs 13:20,
Number Eleven: Positivity. – Events of life show that although we think that we act because of the way we feel, in fact, we often feel because of the way we act. A great attitude always leads to great experiences. People who are creative thinkers, by faith see the world as a place packed with endless opportunities, especially in trying times. Be positive, smile, and make it count. Pretend today is going to be great. Do so, and it will be. Matthew 15:11, Matthew 21:22, Hebrews 13:6
Number Twelve: Self-discipline. – Self-discipline is a skill. It is the ability to focus and overcome distractions. It involves acting according to what you think instead of how you feel in the moment. It often requires sacrificing the pleasure and thrill for what matters most in life. According to Daddy Uma Ukpai. “Distraction is the enemy of distinction”. Therefore it is self-discipline that drives you to succeed in the long-term. Proverbs 25:28, 1 Corinthians 9:24-27, 2 Timothy 1:7
Finally, tell God to speak to you because whatever he created gets attracted to him. Let him empower your life afresh with the anointing for creativity and connections and cause you to be found in The Winners Corner in grand style because you were Created to Win. Love God and be delighted in doing his work. The love of God connects us to opportunity to change things around us. The love of Jehovah announces and introduces us to creation, and puts us on top in our areas of influence. He gives you hope in your hopelessness. He gives you a future from zero level. Everything created on earth is created into a specific purpose. This includes human destiny. You need God to link you to a destiny helper who will help you to fulfill your divine purpose. You need a destiny helper to attract necessary help to fulfill your dream. This is visible with connection to God, praying it out, passionately releasing your faith towards connecting it and becoming a Consistent Winner. I decree, you shall be reconnected, and all evil expectations of failure on your life shall be disconnected and disappointed.
Be a prayer warrior. If you want to reign in your areas of jurisdiction, you must be ready to pray the Scripture this season. The Bible says, “Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak” (Matthew 26:41). Every assignment needs prayer – your personal prayer and group prayer are necessary keys to your success. Pray on target and live in faith on your prayers. God is covenanted to keep you, bless your life and make you fulfill your purpose. I declare, the lines limiting your life, marriage and destiny shall fall off today. This week, God is going to break the circle of limitations on your life and move you to the next level in His plan for you. The lines stand for barriers. I therefore decree that your marital lines are removed, financial lines are removed and every network of setback on your life is broken and destroyed in Jesus name, Amen.
Concluding Prayer of Created to Win: Awesomely Awesome God, I thank you because I am Created to Win through your son Jesus Christ. Father, I desire the abiding presence of the Spirit of excellence to operate and remain a Consistent Winner all the days of my life beginning today. Therefore, I address you my destiny, I have the habits of champions, I am a Victorious Believer, a no Quitter, a Consistent Winner and I shall fulfill my glorious destiny in grand style in Jesus’ powerful name I pray, Amen.
